The Stars Of Glorious Grimsthorpe
First and foremost there’s cars, cars and even more cars. Then there’s bikes, trikes, the sporting and occasionally boring. We have new, old, bold and expensively sold, others so clean with their detailing sheen. The
If like us you can’t wait to get out and about in your pride and joy, take a ride out to Grimsthorpe Castle this July.
Turn up in a classic and park up in Pole Position located within the heart of the event. It is just £10 and this includes 2 day tickets to the event. Alternatively if you want to bring your bike, tickets are just £5 and include entry for the rider.
Club attendance is a major part of the event providing the opportunity for members to ride out and get together at this beautiful location relaxing with like-minded friends. It simply doesn’t matter what your club celebrates in terms of age or brand. Previous clubs to attend have been Porsche Club of Britain, Jaguar XKR Club, MG Owners Club, BMW 7 Series, BSA owners clubs and everything in between.
Live music from bands and soloists underpins the relaxed nature of the event. Enjoy a drink at the stage Bar and unwind at one of the many tables or picnic under one of Grimsthorpe’s beautifully mature trees courtesy of one Capability Brown. Here it’s not about hustle and bustle (unless you’re dancing) more still and chill with regular glass refill.
For The Kids
There’s plenty to see and do for the nippers, whether it’s a trip to the fun fair or a hop on the bouncy castle. They’ll even have complete access to Grimsthorpe Castle’s outdoor adventure park, completely free of charge!
Baston Car and Bike show doesn’t do tat. The wealth and quality of trade stands is high with all trade outlets vetted to ensure what’s on offer is always automotively connected and to a certain standard. Detailing, specialist repairs, insurance, wheel refurb and period clothing stands are just some of the trades that will be attending in 2021.
Ok we might not be Goodwood but our food is still glorious. There’s huge choice of menus from our confirmed outlets – whatever your culinary preference, there’s something to suit you.
Built in 1958, this jet powered VW pickup truck has undergone a total nut and bolt restoration re-engineered to cope with a Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine with the power of the 5000 BHP turbine.
